How Your Varsity Application Works

Six simple steps from your matric results to submitted applications.

    Create a free account

    Register with your email address and accept our Terms and Privacy Policy.

  2. 2

    Choose your side

    Each time you log in, pick the University side or the College (TVET) side so your applications never get mixed up.

  3. 3

    Enter your marks

    Type in your latest subject percentages. We convert them to NSC levels and calculate your APS automatically (best six subjects, excluding Life Orientation).

  4. 4

    Unlock your matches

    Pay a once-off unlock fee to see every programme you qualify for, grouped by institution, with campuses, durations and career options.

  5. 5

    Pick your programmes

    Select up to three programmes per institution, complete one applicant form and upload your certified documents.

  6. 6

    We apply for you

    After payment, an application assistant submits your applications on the official portals. You can track each status in your dashboard and receive email updates.

Funding

We don't process NSFAS applications — NSFAS is free to apply for on the official website. Our NSFAS guide explains who qualifies and what to prepare.
